A Child's Second Look

# 50-24 Mt. Burke Blvd. West Lethbridge
Our Mission: Consistent with our program philosophy and goals, our mission is to provide a stimulating learning environment where life time learning begins. Welcome to A Child's Second Look! We are a mixed age daycare centre located in West Lethbridge, offering childcare for children aged 19 months to 6 years. We are a small home-away-from-home that packs in a lot of fun for the kids in our care. Our centre loves to be involved in the community! Our monthly field trips include places like pet stores and the Letbridge Public Library, as well as dentist and optometrist offices. Our centre has a partnership with a local nursing home where we visit, sing and enjoy time with the "grandparents" there. We also have the community come to us, with visitors including a firefighter, storytellers and music teachers. All of our children participate in a Wee Wiggles program run by the University of Lethbridge, which allows the children to run, stretch and play in a safe, supervised environment. And we have been to City Hall to listen to Christmas carols and always go to the Whoop Up Day parade. We also encourage parents to get involved. Parents accompany us on our various excursions and are always welcome at the centre. On top of everyday involvement we have parent-child days and activities such as Mother's and Father's Day, family BBQ's, pancake breakfasts and Christmas potlucks. We have been an active centre in West Lethbridge for 10 years and look forward to many more!

MISSION STATEMENT: Learning Centre mission is to provide a secure, nurturing, loving and stimulating environment that encourages and promotes developmental growth in all areas of learning so that children may develop to his or her fullest potential at his or her own pace. Our programs form a bridge between the home, school and the community. We are committed to providing the highest quality childcare, early education and life skills in our community. Agape Day care believes that an early educational program will nurture and enhance each child’s social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional and spiritual needs.
